OIL IS OUT TODAY
My Oil EP is released today via Darker Than Wax.
It feels like so long we have been working on it! After a chance meeting a couple years ago with the guys at the 4 to the floor party (s/o Kengo) through a million revisions of the tunes, through linking with Marco in NY last year and playing their lot radio show and then to covid delaying everything - its great to have it finally out in the world.
Across 7 tracks The EP explores UK club sounds and textures, warped sound design and beat experiments. I put together between the old Rhythm Section studio and home. Teo Mattress provided a breezy, floaty 3am remix of Jawhar Park. The art is 35mm pictures I took and designed up by Dean.
